Are You Looking for Ways to Serve?
Our church is in immediate need of volunteers in many different capacities, from helping with midweek suppers, to ushering, to serving on Altar Guild, to making phone calls . . . the list goes on! All of our wonderful programs depend greatly on the many willing hands it takes to make them happen! To find out what you can do to get involved and help others, please call the church office or complete the talkback in today’s bulletin!

Hear the "Woman to Woman" Program . . . (a ministry of Lutheran Hour Ministries) Sundays at 9:30 p.m. on KMTX FM 105.3. This week’s program is "STD’s: One Woman’s Return from Shame." When Jen was diagnosed with a sexually transmitted disease, she quickly discovered how "free and casual" sex could become "medical and forever." Hear how God led Jen from isolation to trusting Him with her dark secret and the rest of her story.

The Lutheran Hour . . . July 27, 2008. The Lutheran Hour message is "God’s Vision Revealed," with guest speaker Rev. Ralph Blomenburg. Sometimes you have to see something before it is there, or it will never be there at all. What a sculptor did for Mt. Rushmore, God has done for you (Romans 8:28). Tune in to 1340 KCAP AM Sundays at 9:00 a.m. or 105.3 KMTX FM Sundays at 9:30 p.m. to hear or pick it up anytime on the web: www.lutheranhour.org. This program is sponsored weekly by Tempest Technologies.

Our Thanks . . . to Esther Poor, Leona Boland, Betty Burton and Duane and Nancy Westerbuhr for preparing, serving and cleaning up after our Wednesday night supper!
